CSA

What is a CSA?

Please note:  We will not be offering a CSA this season. It has come time to let our ground rest and recover after many years for farming the same production area. While we have always rotated our crops, weed pressure can still have an impact. We will still be doing some farming and growing a select few crops. Please watch our social media page for news and updates about our progress. We value your support. There are many area farms with programs. We hope you find one which suits your needs.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), is a relationship of mutual support and commitment between local farmers and community members who pay the farmer an annual membership fee to help cover the production costs of the farm.  In turn, members receive a weekly share of the harvest during the local growing season.  This arrangement gives the farmer a direct connection and a relationship with the community. Members receive a wide variety of local in-season foods harvested at their peak of ripeness, flavor and vitamin and mineral content.
